Zazie Olivia Beetz was born on January 1, 1991 in Berlin. Her father is a German cabinetmaker who moved in the United States after the Fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, is her mother a South African American social worker. Zendaya turned vegetarian at the age of 11, after passing the killinghouse along with her father when they were on the road. The woman has since adhered to an all-vegan diet.
